Here are some easy soft drink and cocktail recipes that can bring out the authentic Matcha flavor with some simple steps.

Soft drinks
using Nishio Matcha

The standards

All you need is a shaker to make this delicious soft drink to enjoy the Umami flavor of Nishio Matcha.

What you need
  • Nisho Matcha 1.0g
  • Water 2 Tablespoon
Direction

Must sift Matcha with a tea strainer first.
Shake the sifted Matcha with water in a shaker.

Matcha Apple, fruity flavored Matcha for those who are new to Matcha

What you need
  • Nisho Matcha 1.0g
  • Apple juice (not from concentrate) 150 ml
Direction

Shake the above well using a shaker to make rich foam. The foam helps to enhance the Matcha flavor.

* The use of the not from concentrate apple juice is recommended.

Matcha Yogurt Shake, a creamy delicacy for those who are new to Matcha

What you need
  • Nisho Matcha 1.0g
  • Water 3 Tablespoon
  • Evaporated milk 2 Tablespoon
  • Simple syrup 1 Tablespoon
  • Yogurt 4 Tablespoon

Put all the listed ingredients in a shaker and shake it well until creamy.

*Evaporated milk is unsweetened condensed milk.
*The thickness and the acidity may differ depending on the yogurt brand. Please adjust accordingly.

Matcha Lime Soda, a refreshing soda

What you need
  • Nishio Matcha 1.0g
  • Water 2 Tablespoon
  • Simple syrup 1 Tablespoon
  • Fresh squeezed lime juice 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Club soda 150ml

Prepare a shot of Matcha by mixing Matcha and water in a shaker. Add in the simple syrup, lime juice, soda to the shot of Matcha.

* We recommend using the fresh squeezed lime juice, instead of a bottled kind
* Try using a stronger carbonated club soda

Matcha Ginger Milk, the Teh Tarik style

What you need
  • Nisho Matcha 2.0g
  • Water 4 Tablespoon
  • Hot water 120ml
  • Honey 1 Tablespoon
  • Evaporated milk 2 Tablespoon
  • Powdered ginger 1/4 teaspoon or 0.5 gram

Prepare a shot of Matcha by mixing the double amount of Matcha and water in a shaker. Mix in the hot water, evaporated milk and powdered ginger to the shot of Matcha.

Nishio Matcha Highball

What you need
  • Whisky 40ml
  • Nishio Matcha 2.5g
  • Lemon juice (100%) 10ml
  • Simple syrup 1teaspoon
  • Soda as needed
Direction

Put whisky, Nishio Matcha, lemon juice and simple syrup in a 10oz tumbler. Mix it for about 15 seconds with a milk frother. Add soda with 4 to 5 pieces of ice. Stir the mixture for couple of times.
